GIZ, Regional Program "Reform of Educational Systems in Central Asia"

Target groups
Schools, pupils, teachers, students at pedagogical colleges; 

Policy / Strategy development:
Support to the Ministries of Education of Central Asian countries in their efforts to improve the quality of education by introducing the necessary reforms and monitoring;
Establish regional dialogue between the countries of Central Asia;

Staff development
Capacity building of primary school teachers, teachers for natural sciences, teachers for technology and trainers at teacher training centres;

Infrastructure development
Providing literature, books for elementary schools, as well as equipment and teaching material for natural sciences classes. Provide laboratory equipment. Provide machinery, tools and equipment for the subject “Technology”;

Vocational orientation & counseling:
Development of cooperation between comprehensive schools and vocational schools. Supporting "Info-Tours" for vocational orientation. Supporting GIZ project Girls' Day (vocational orientation day for girls);
